TE MIRE TAMA  2012 WINNERS

Te Mire Tama which happened in the National Auditorium on Thursday 18th was enjoyed by many.  A total of 10  young male and female contestants competed this year.  This is a new event that was established in 2011. Formerly known as the Mire Tiare, a competition held for the young girls from the age of 14 years to 17 years old.  As of last year, young men of the same age groups were included in the competition.  These young male and female contestants are trained to offer overall self-improvement of confidence,
ability and skill in the following areas of:

1. Public Speaking – to speak well in public

2. Natural Talent – to utilise one’s own natural talents to their own advantage

3. Public Presentation – to stand and present anything well in public

Winners for this year's Te Mire Tama are as follows:

*  Samuel Nga - Tama Aito (2nd Placing)

*  Terepai Numanga - Tama Aito (3rd Placing)
