Topiri ‘anga Tarere: Ruirua ra 31 o Mati 2009 Closing Date of Entries: Tuesday 31st March 2009.
Akatuera ia teia tarere ki te Kuki Airani Maori katoatoa e te aronga i retita ia ei Kuki Airani e te ture (Permanent Residents) The competition is open to all Cook Islanders residing in the Cook Islands, overseas and those that are permanent residents of the Cook Islands.
Tumu Tapura: Oronga atinga ite au ati’anga Theme: SHARE THE MOMENTS.
E rua irava ite reo Maori. Okotai irava ite reo Papa’a. The Composition is to have 2 verses in the Cook Islands Maori language and either the Chorus, Bridge in the English language.
Ka akatika ia te apinga akatangi mei te vivo, pu poreo, puapua inano, pau, pau mango e te vai atura. The Composers are encouraged to include the Cook Islands sounds in their composition, e.g. The Drums, Conch shell, Nose Flute, etc.
Tuku mai i taau imene na runga ite topi teata e te topi imene. Tuku katoa mai i te tateni o te imene. Submission of your Composition must include the Lyrics and music recordings on a CD or Cassette. The composers are encouraged to insert the musical notes to their lyric’s musical Sheet.
Ka tika ia kia tokorua, toko toru e kia toko ‘a toou aronga imene. The Composition is to be in the category of a Solo, Duet, or 3 to 4 singers.
Auraka taau imene kia poto ake ite 4 e te apa miniti. Auraka kia roa atu i te 6 miniti The Composition duration is to be a minimum 41/2and a maximum 6 minutes.
Ka akava ia taau imene no runga ite reka o te tuatua, te matara o te tumu tapura, te kakara o te aka’atianga tuatua e te muka o te tateni. The Composition will be judged for Compatibility, Originality, Lyric’s and Musical arrangements to the theme.
Ko te CISNOC e te Tauranga Vananga (Ministry of Cultural Development), te tiaki o te imene, ko te taunga ‘atu imene, te Pu o te imene tei autu. The Copyright of the winning Composition is the property of Cook Islands Sports National Olympics Committee (CISNOC), Tauranga Vananga (Ministry of Cultural Development) and the composer.
Kare e akatika ia te aronga angaanga o te Tauranga Vananga i te tomo ki roto i te tarere. The staff of the Ministry of Cultural Development are not eligible to enter the competition.
